Why is this game on steam...
Arkabed 8 May, 2014 @ 12:13pm
Because Steam is an online store hosting games platform and than every game can be sold here. What i'd wish though is some kind of filter which would allow everybody to configure the store page, with options like "never showing that kind of game because i'm not interested" or so. So everybody would have its own custom store page, some with only AAA titles, others with only indies, race games, tacticals or a bit of everything. I think that would be the perfect compromise for everyone, open-minded player vs close-minded, casual vs gamer, etc..

no Arkabed i play all games but seriously i dont like when they add a Ios/android game to steam and add stome extra ♥♥♥♥ to it and ask around 14.99 to 9.99 for it ... no im not talkin about this game i dont know if its ios or whatever but im talking about a lot of other games that are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and placed on steam to sale and 99% like the phone version so ... CAndycrush with mana ok just add some STEAM interest it ...

Why not Mana Crusher Saga?

I mean it's true, King sucks for all that draconian trademarking BS they do, but games like this are the reason.... Mana Crushers is obviously trying to leech off the Candy Crush popularity using its name. Isn't there some way to prevent this kind of ♥♥♥♥ without affecting titles like Banner Saga?

FIRE_KEEPER, i 100% agree with you. I have no interests of dull ios port neither, without steam achievement, steam cloud, screen resolution nor whatever. Hopefuly, sometimes, there are better ios games which comes to Steam, like Last Knight for example. I was just answering to Mr. Hoix.

last knight is good and i love it
and yeah i know what you meant i was just making my point
but i can name 999 ios ported games that should be removed from steam ... and even sued for not updating or fixing all the errors or doing their "Roadmap"

It's funny because now when I see new Steam releases like this I immediately check the Play Store. This game and others can be found for free, with optional in-app purchases of course. I'm not sure how Steam could possibly filter games like this from actual PC puzzle games, but this iOS/Android game porting is starting to get ridiculous.

Well when they added the new tagging feature to Steam people started tagging these as mobile ports but then some developers complained and had that tag disabled. Personally I feel it's valid and there should be a way to separate casual and puzzle games created for the PC versus some mobile game that's free with microtransactions or under $5 that's being sold here for $10-$15.

You're an idiot and you tricked your own dumb self by thinking the name alone made the connection. The gameplay plays like another game that's already been cloned to hell and back for a decade. Come on people, stop calling these games ripoffs of the MOST RECENT VERSION OF THE SAME DAMN GAME. There's only so many things you can do with puzzlers, and people have been repeating them over and over since before your stupid candy crush garbage even existed, or the devices you played them on.

I still wouldn't buy the game, but get it straight.
