Things I hope will be built in Action Game Maker
It is good that the program will be based on the Godot engine. I hope that games made through Action Game Maker can also be edited through Godot for more flexible development.

Also I hope one of the targets that it can export to is with specific Steam Deck input support; I did a quick test on a sample game on Godot, then uploaded the executable to the Steam Deck and works just fine. It would be nice to be able to use the different peripherals it has available.

Not only being able to work on Steam Deck, but I think it will intergrate well with the Steam files. This should allow Steam achievements and other features.

I hope there's a way to make top down action game as well since we only see a sideview scroller in the ''video''. Also, let's hope there's a user database. This is probably what killed Pixel Game Maker for me. No database and no way of creating a menu without using messy logic object.

PGM has a Database... it was added not too long ago.

The way they keep talking about being able to make MetroidVanias at launch, i'd be shocked if it didn't have one at launch.
