How did you end up in prison?
Prisoners!

Early Access draws closer and closer, there's just 2 weeks until you can put your plans into action and become an Escapist! There's a multitude of ways to get out, but what about how you managed to get in?

I want to hear your character's story. What will you be called? What's your background and, crucially, how did you end up in Shanktown State Prison?

As always, keep it clean for the kids ;)

Over to you,

MT17

P.S. My character, Horace, was mistakenly arrested for theft after a miscreant slipped a block of cheese into his pocket whilst leaving his local supermarket. Not enough for a conviction, but after a spate of social and work disasters, this small incident broke the camel's back - sending Horace over the edge. When presented with the evidence in court, Horace threw the whole block of Red Leicester at the judge - leading to a custodial sentence for disrupting the course of justice.

My name is Enrique. Our familia used to run this town. No deal ever happened that we didn't have our hand in or get our cut from. We were like the Enron of gangster families. Too big to fail right? I was a lowly enforcer. I provided a service to the community. Protection against accidents. As long as people kept the Family happy accidents wouldn't happen. Life was good.

Well suffice to say one after one of our competitors started pushing in on our turf accidents started happening. One rainy evening on my way to one of the places where an accident was supposed to happen I accidentally ran over some poor schmuck's dog. That schmuck happened to be the wife of a court judge who wasn't too pleased to have her dog involved in a hit and run.

When the cops investigated they found a bit of fertilizer and C4 in the trunk or my car. I was arrested and found guilty of attempted manslaughter and suspected terrorist activity. So now I find myself in this hole of a prison without a pot to piss in all because of that woman and her little dog too.

My name was Charlie Aitkens, and I served three tours back in 'Nam. I was a Sargent, and was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ best light machine-gunner in the country, ♥♥♥♥ Or Yank. I've felt the heat of nate so much I found the rest of the world cold. Vietnam was my home, my job and my life. They took that from me, when I was responsible for the manslaughter of a civilian, when I was putting down for my squad, and she got in the way. It would have been the end of it, maybe a month away from the field or some time on trial, but my superiors had had enough of being stood up at there own game, and they got rid of me. Dishonourable discharge. I arrived back in the states less than a week after the incident. The sad thing was, they were punishing me, by giving me something many men have begged for. Back in my 'home' of Kentucky. Ill skip out a part because things got messy, I didn't have a job, and living on the streets makes a man desperate.

Now here I am, in prison, on the charge of Armed robbery, three counts of murder, two counts of murder of an officer on duty, and the use of a deadly weapon. 130 years, to add insult to injury, when its just life without parole. I'm not interested in parole, but I'm getting out.

My name was Andy.D. I'm used to be the best financial manager in the town. To be the one, I worked day and night for it. One day, my wife was found dead with another guy on the bed. Fingerprints on the weapon that kills them found out to be mine. I'm pretty sure I didn't pull the trigger but every evidence on the crime scene had pointed that I was the murderer. I believe I'm not guilty, and I will get out of here.

Snugget "The Menace" GinzPaw. A menace since the day he was born when he knocked over a jar of rubbing alcohol on his mother just after his birth. He has escaped several foster homes, juvenile detention centers and prisons throughout his life. He has been caught yet again and charged with 12 counts of Unnecessary Dinozo's, 30 counts of Detonating Mole Hills, and 1 count of Relieving Himself on Disney's Splash Mountain, on top of his charges of escaping INTERPOL, Federal, State, and local criminal containment facilities. He has been classified by the United States DOD as a threat to Global Security.

They call me "Rojo," or at least that is what I put on my calling card. A stratagist by trade, I get people to perform certain actions take alter the stock market. I then, profit from that action having invested beforehand. It was a great business; the profit made me very rich. I had everything I ever wanted and more, except a son. So I took up an apprentice and to my dismay, he worked for INTERPOL.... And now I am at SSP for a long time. I need to get out of here before INTERPOL discovers what my next plan is.

My sign was a playing card back in the good ol' days. People used to call me the Joker and I worked and worked to the destruction of that city, but the bat put me in here. I will escape and turn the streets of Gotham bright with laughter, then red with blood.

The name is Henry, former police officer. I worked my way up from simple patrols to drug busts in the city. The local crime syndicate didn't appreciate my hard work and set me up for a fall... a hard one...

One rigged jury trial and a prison bus ride later and I have my own personal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to call my own. The system is dead to me, and I won't be waiting 45 years to exact my revenge.

Name: David Turner
Nickname: "The Unexpected"
Occupation: Hitman

David Turner was a quiet child, He didn't talk much. He was raised in Scotland and shortly graduation, he moved to Seattle. Around 20 or so years later, He became the most notorious Hitman in Northern United States. One day he recieved a contract that would pay big. For $8.5M he was asked to assassinate The United States President. The man said to just call him R. He seemed a little shady to him, he usually would not accept a hit like this but he eventually did.
Everything was going exactly as planned. It was just when he had his sights on the president that the SWAT started swarming the building he was hiding in. They arrested him, but not after he killed 9 officers and injured 3 more.
He was sentenced guilty and recieved a life sentence. There is only one thing on David's mind now. Kill R.

I'm Chris. I experimented with dangerous stuff like napalm pretty early in my live. When I was older, I sold my selfmade Molotov Cocktails and explosives to rebels around the world. The pipebombs from the last gang-war near Shanktown were mine. After they found one guy I sold these pipebombs, he said I sold this to him. The police caught me but I paid a hitman to kill him. He is dead, I'm in jail.
But the cops don't know that I still control my people. He he...
