We are happy to announce that the "Resurrection Edition" Update is now available. It brings bug fixes and new features such as:

IMPROVED AND EXTENDED INTERIOR LEVEL (2 NEW FLOORS WITH ELEVATOR)
The plane now features a stylish first-class upper deck and a cargo hold for moving about in. Both floors feature a workable elevator connecting each floor making moving about the interior of the large plane quick and easy. The plane also lands realistically at an airport if the player can hold off the onslaught of the zombies long enough.

NEW MUSIC AND SOUNDS ADDED
The plane modes now feature music. More sounds have been added to the interior level.

PLANE MODES SIMPLIFIED AND ENHANCED FOR BETTER EXPERIENCE
As part of the overall goal of overhauling the game to be better and more responsive, the controls of the aircraft in the plane modes now no longer require multiple inputs to shake the zombies off the plane keeping the focus on the player moving the main plane rather than individual parts for ease of play and increased fun. The combo reward system has been tuned to be more rewarding for the player allowing the gameplay to be more fluid by giving the player boosts to plane speed, making the zombies fall off the plane more easily as the plane flies close above the water while the boost is active etc. resulting in more rewarding gameplay.

ZOMBIE AI MORE INTELLIGENT
Zombies now roam the levels in a more realistic way, moving to the floor the player is on within the large jet

NUMEROUS BUG FIXES
Zombies no longer move in the floor
Zombies no longer unshakable from plane in plane mode
UI bug fixes
...many more fixes and improvements

Shake zombies frantically off a jumbo jet teaming with zombies before they take it out of the sky and have it plunge into the pacific ocean or blaze around the cabins of a jumbo jet holding back zombie hordes at 30,000ft just long enough for the pilots to land and save the day with an awesome assortment of weaponry. Pure fun for everyone!

There was an issue with the some of the content in the Deluxe Edition not downloading for some users. This has now been fixed. Enjoy blazing around the cabins as Santa Claus and flying in the helicopters.

Another positive update to build on the game and polish it further

- Improved tutorials to increase knowledge of lesser-known controls to better experience
- Plane modes now have music and improved audio
- Shadow Bias updated to remove shadow artifacts
- And some minor improvements

I've been working hard on another update to improve the experience even more.

Here are the changes:

- Characters in selection screen now talk and have mouth move
- Improved cinematic for mode 'Defend the Cockpit' with pilots being shown sending out mayday call to nearby airport and in-flight announcements concerning landing heard via PA in the cabins
- Interior level improved with more dynamism as fighter jets escort the plane at the tail and open fire on the engines
- Improvements to interior level throughout
- Added Camera movement to both interior and exterior levels adds to the feeling of panic
- Also some minor changes and improvements

NEW PATCH
Over the past week, I, the game's creator, have spent countless hours improving and balancing the game for optimal playability and to simply make it more fun. I can positively say that the game is now much better, and all issues early players of the game have raved about in the first reviews have been addressed and fixed. I'm trying get a price drop to reflect the user's general feeling with this being an indie game on Steam, but I'm working with the Humble Store for quicker effect. More details on that soon.

- Clouds outside interior level add dynamism
- Specular of interior walls increased to give more realistic look
- Informative F1-HELP(CONTROLS) in-game tutorial added for all modes (no more confusion about plane controls)
- Plane gameplay redone (zombies now fall when player moves part zombie is attacking)
- Plane pitch inverted
- Survival mode is first in game mode list
- And many other changes and improvements

I'd like to let everyone know that I've dedicated 4 whole years of my personal life to Zombies on a Plane, and the amount of time you lose for the other stuff in life and the stress you get from spending hour-after-hour living in a soul-crushing development cycle of little sleep and no pay is something that should be acknowledged. So please re-review the game if you have already given it a negative review since this new update makes many changes based on the feedback and several important improvements that should change your mind.

A major update is coming to fix issues that are causing the high number of negative reviews.
