If nostalgia were a game, this would be it, and it is just as good today as you remember it being.

Great game, super fun. It's an online RPG, not an MMO so keep that in mind. When starting out as a new player it makes sense to pick prophecies, but I'd avoid it if you want to learn the system in a more polished way (since there is -a lot- to work with). Pick one of the other campaigns in the trilogy and have a blast trying out your secondary professions! When starting prophecies, please make sure to do all the side quests so you're a high enough level after the tutorial (minimum 7) and to pick up the necessary skills.

The journey to GWAMM begins with the pursuit of level 20 in Pre-Searing Ascalon.

I will complete this endeavor, and others should aspire to it too.
