Seriously... no pause?

I just picked up this game after playing The Deep Paths, Ruzar, both Grimrocks. I'm just starving for this kind of games. This is the first one I play without a pause button or a way to pause the game while you answer the phone, take a pee, etc. Bad thing.

I have finished Coldfire Keep and I enjoyed it. Not up to Grimrock but still fun.
So my question is this, from the titles you mentioned which one did you enjoy most and why?

I didn't mention The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians. This is the one, followed very close by The Deep Paths. Why? I don't know. Just it was more fun.
