I dont nessecarily think that this is a game you "beat" by killing Vlad. Just experiencing the end of the game an being added to his collection of impaled victims was a satisfying end to me. Not all stories end the hero's winning. Its a choose your own adventure book using a pc as its catalyst. Nothing more, nothing less.

I know this is late but I remember being able to tinker with the game files to raise the drop rates for specific legendary weapons. There is still a bit of randomness to it but it did seem to help a lot. Unfortunately I did it so long ago that I don't remember the specifics. If someone like me could figure it out then it can't be that hard though.

At least someone finally understands! AllIhave left, since back when I wrotethis, is using various weapons that I can't get. Not a fan of playing the exact same way 20 times in a row to get a drop. Squeak up there made me so mad I couldn't even answer them. I kinda know it isn't about beating the game. But I'd like to have a chance at using the weaponsthat get achievements that I can't even see no matter what I do. That said, I wasn't looking for a programming challenge either. At least I know to quit hoping. Thanks Bird!
