The gameplay is janky and low budget but you can tell there's a ton of heart put into the production. The Kojima/Clancy/J-Horror story is absolutely nuts (didn't quite expect how far it would take things with the ending), and the English translation is pretty decent. The charm heavily outweighs the rough edges. If you like games that swing for the fences, this one's for you. The biggest hangup I have with the game is that there's a stealth section that expects you to make it pretty far before it gives you a checkpoint, but it's forgiving enough to let you screw up multiple times and not give you an instant game over, so it could be a lot worse.
