Yes, and the gun sounds are awful, weapons look and feel cheap overall.

Tbh we're considering it. It really depends whether players would actually use workshop and the general mod reception (hasnt been a day since release yet)

I'm actually genuinely happily-relieved that i'm not the only one that prefers the pre-2015 version of NH2, seriously.

It would've been nice if the devs consider giving us pre-2015 content as an optional choice. I miss some of the removed easter eggs and i liked old weapons

Which is exactly why I HIGHLY PREFER the pre-2015 version over the 2015 version as it retains Romero's conveyor belt machine which periodically churns out helpful supply boxes (but again, you need to be quick and physically grab them before they drop into either of the two hols as it is comprised of two downward-tilting conveyor belts that send the supply boxes into the holes unless you prevent it from doing that by, again, grabbing the supply boxes before they drop into said holes) when you activate it, retains the FAR SUPERIOR hl2-like shotgun and last but NEVER LEAST, the Uboa easter egg is retained as well.

I can agree on the conveyor belt machine and the weapons, but i believe the 2015 version did the voicelines better since they are either better voice acted or straight up extended. Examples being: *SPOILERS*

I enjoy the 2015 version, but I do have a lot of nostalgia for the days of old.

I've never played this before and have no context at which to imagine any of that, but I fully support you.

Seeing a workshop on here would be amazing for me to put my ideas on here for the very first time! Love the horror and atmosphere of the game!

Indeed, not to mention that fan-created "sequels" can continue from where NH2 left off after the MC (who is called "The Patient" if the NH wiki is to be believed, though it still sounds like a lame name for the MC imho, but at least it's not terrible) destroys the support columns holding up the Core, allowing the ghost of Emily to exact vengeance on her ex-husband after the Core powers down shortly after said support columns are destroyed since it's unlikely that NH2 will continue and I don't blame it since it apparently leaves behind an ending that I believe is up to us to imagine what happens after Ghost Emily thanks the MC, which the screen later blacks out to the credits.

i personally prefer 2015 version, i hate the reskinned HL2 guns.
