H1EMU So Underwhelming
Just found out about this revival and was so happy to see H1 still around after being an early player back in the day for several until the game purchased by Daybreak from SOE was ruined due to the focus soley on Battle Royale.

I can't join any PVP servers yet as i'm waiting on Discord admins to verify me.

Went on PVE and talk about EMPTY! Zombies nothing, no wolves or bears. Literally no threat at all. At least PVP will have people once I gain access but so disappointed.

Why couldn't they use a later build? Also it seems the emulator has been in this state for a few years so the H1EMU have basically given up on the project?

Such a pity.

Regardless of any hype you hear about H1Emu, the truth is that they will never be able to obtain all of the resources they need for it to be fully functioning. The zombies will forever be "lifeless". The animals will remain docile, etc.. It's basically doomed to be a weak sudo BR in perpetuity.

Why couldn't they use a later build - All the files must be out there somewhere.

I'm not a dev, so I'm not even gonna try to explain in detail, but It's not as simple as just "having all the files". There's a lot more work involved to reverse engineer it all.
