It's probably not my place to butt into the forum like this, but I'm bursting with curiosity and just have to pop this question: at what point in the game did you notice what the creatures truly were? You may not believe it after one playthrough, but people tend to have very different experiences in They Breathe (some probably better than others), and discover things in different orders. So what was your discovery like?...

I'm about one step above the boss. There are no enemies to beat, but the level isn't continuing down. I assume its a bug. I'm stuck since there's nothing to kill me no matter how freaked out over air my frog gets. Edit: So I retried the 'wave' again and it did the same thing. And again a third time. I think I'm done. At least the first time I played, the game let me through to complete the game....

I think the constant spamming of the "moo" sound with gradual increase of the pitch, while being helpful to signify the near end of the beast, dissipates any suspense the player could have by turning the horrific sound into a white noise, especially when there are more than one of the bаstatrds on screen....
