Hoping everyone has been enjoying the super update! We’ve got a small update bringing Japanese localisation, fixes to various aspect ratios, and some small gameplay tweaks!

• The game is now available in Japanese! You can change the current language in settings.
  
• A tutorial for Super abilities will now appear after the punish tutorial when facing Wilfred for the first time.
  
• There is now a notification when a new paddle skin has been unlocked.
  
• UI now scales correctly the following aspect ratios: 21:9, 32:9, 4:3, 3:2, 5:3.
  
• Ultrawide aspect ratios are now boxed to 16:9 to prevent scaling issues between menu and gameplay UI.
  
• Activating super before the rage cutscene will now no longer consume your super.
  
• Reset all save data option in settings now brings up a prompt instead of immediately clearing all your save data.
  
• Paddle skins reset correctly when save data is reset.
  
• the NO button is now the first selected button when clicking quit in game.
  
• Other minor fixes regarding texts have been implemented.

Addressing a lot of the feedback about the game, we have a major update coming out for all of you! This update highlights are as follows!

• Balance Adjustments - Spin has received yet another nerf, giving you ample time to figure out how it works. In addition,
  
• Super Abilities - Both you and enemy champions now have a super attack that charges up over the match. Activate it and use it wisely, as it can be a huge gamechanger!
  
• QoL - You're now able to skip the loading screens after restarts!
  
• Customization - Unlock a variety of paddles to use against enemy champions by completing achievements!
  
• Assist Mode - If you're struggling with Arcade mode, we have added an option inside settings to make your journey way easier. However, it is NOT the intended experience.
  
• Other game secrets!

The full patch notes, however, are as follows:
Players are no longer confined to a single boring paddle. There now different paddles to collect in-game! Can you collect them all?

Players now have a super ability! Use the specified keybind to activate your Super Killshot to negate half of the next damage you receive and deal a massive amount of stamina damage in return. Gain charges faster by doing critical hits and killshots!

Which brings us to enemies. Enemies also has their own unique super abilities now. All of them has their own Supers that you have to look out for!

• Ivan's Winter Strike - Increases the ball speed and deals an increased amount of stamina damage.
  
• Wilfred's Castling - Deals a significant amount of stamina damage and completely negates the damage received.
  
• Nemo's Vanishing Strike - Causes the ball to disappear until the second bounce.
  
• Pat's Supersonic - Fires a supersonic shot to a direction indicated by a crosshair, dealing an increased amount of stamina damage.
  
• Ping's God Hand - Creates multiple illusions of the ball while dealing an increased amount of stamina damage.

There is a super secret boss you can fight now. Good luck!

Enemies can no longer be "cheesed" by shooting the ball into the same spot, as they will adapt to it quickly and start punishing heavily. How adaptive an enemy is scales on difficulty!

Added an "Assist Mode" accessibility option for Arcade Mode, allowing you to progress through the Arcade easier with +100% damage. Note that this is not the intended difficulty of the game.

• All opponents in Arcade Mode has close to a 25% reduction in their max stamina bar.
  
• All opponents in Arcade Mode has close to a 25% increase in their stamina damage.
  
• Spin is reworked to scale based off the opponent's spin ability. This means that the during first time players encounter spin, the spin rate of Takaoka Nemo will not be as intense as it originally gets in hopes of facilitating a better difficulty curve.
  
• Takaoka Nemo will have an increased spin scaling throughout Championship Mode.
  
• Killshots will no longer cost any stamina.
  
• Added visual effects to indicate when the player has run out of stamina.
  
• Ingame UI will be temporarily hidden during certain in-game cinematics.
  
• Championship mode will now provide additional score multipliers, giving players an additional method to grab the achievement for 250000 points.
  
• There are 2 additional achievements on Steam.
  
• You can skip through the restart cinematics, allowing for much faster restarts.

• Frame skips will no longer soft lock the game!
  
• Fixed a bug where the credits scene still plays after exiting to the main menu.
  
• Championship difficulty Wilfred no longer has access to your brainwaves.
