- We've made a few tweaks here and there, important game re-balance and major game optimization, so now more players will be able to play with no lag.
- Also we've translated the game into Chinese. Now Chinese players will enjoy the game story and descriptions of the robot parts and weapons at its fullness.

It has been a while since we posted news and updates about Guns and Robots and we would like to apologize for being so quiet. Now we are back on track with the game.
Our team has great plans for Guns and Robots, but this time we need your help to achieve them and reach the next level. In the following months, we would like to bring more players into the game, so you can become friends or enemies with them, add them in your guild or play in coop mode. We plan to add social features, coop mode gameplay, new robot parts, weapons and maps.
We also would like to improve your game experience by fixing bugs, improving the queue waiting times and the game performance. For all those plans, we need your help. New Easter event will be kicking off this Friday, 3rd of April and will run until 14th of April celebrating the Spring Season.

There will be two phases of the event granting the best one an Easter themed head for your robot – Shellhead by collecting rabbit minions in the phase one and for the second phase – a devastating Egg Punch Turret.

Other prizes in store for you will be a mask and a hat. We have thought about all of you and we decided that all other participants will be rewarded for their event attendance with sparks. We hope you're as excited as we are! Go on, spread the word and invite your fellow robot-fighters.

Balance

• Increased the influence of the weapons and devices in calculating the robot ranks. As a result some of your existing robots may have their rank changed.
  
• All body cases have their durability increased by 10%.
  
• Increased the rate of fire of Fragunov. Its damage per shot has been decreased accordingly.
  
• Decreased the damage of Necrotron 3000.
  
• Railgun will now have its damage halved for each obstacle the shot passes through.

Matchmaking

• Players with robot rank 1 will only be matched with other players with robot rank 1.
  
• Increased the influence of the players ladder points in the matchmaking.

GUI

• Friends and Guild rosters will display the online/offline duration of each member.
  
• Added GUI indication for the Camo-Cloack device duration.
  
• A warning will be displayed upon entering a battle if you don't have enough charges for your equipped devices to last throughout the whole duration of the battle.

Bug fixes

• Fixed issues with "Add Friends" type achievements. They should be granted correctly now.
  
• Fixed an issue with missing portraits in the GUI.
  
• Fixed the "Watch Tutorial" button in the Garage GUI for Steam clients.
  
• Fixed guild Message of the day input field.
  
• Fixed a bug causing guild buffs to still be displayed in the battle queue GUI after leaving a guild.
  
• Fixed a bug occasionally causing guild speed buff to not be applied to players in battle.

We have listened and Guns and Robots is hosting a double XP weekend from 16:00 PM (GMT) Friday, March13th and will be running until 08:00 AM (GMT) Monday, March 16th. As usual, Double XP works by doubling the XP you have earned at the end of the match victories, killing enemies and damage done. Let's go storm off the ladder!
