ICYMI - On June 18th, we launched Crime Boss: Rockay City here on Steam. The response has been amazing! We've set up this thread to give you more info on how you can report any problems you may come across and to ensure you get the support you need.

In addition, we will use this thread to provide info on game updates. We believe in being as transparent as possible, so whenever we have updates to share, we will update this thread with the latest from our lands.

We're aware that some players are experiencing performance issues in-game. The team are investigating this issue as a matter of priority. As soon as we have an update to share, we will let you know. Thank you for your patience!

SERVER BACKEND IS UNDER MAINTENANCE - MULTIPLAYER WILL BE OFFLINE TEMPORARILY - During the maintenance window there will be 30 minutes of downtime, followed by degraded availability for up to 3 hours.

💀JUNE 21ST - 09:00 BST
Some players have reported experiencing stutter issues.
It appears that adjusting certain settings can resolve some of these cases.
If you’ve encountered stuttering and managed to fix it, please share your solution with us so we can pass it along to the rest of the community.

For those still experiencing issues, please try the following steps:

All Users:
Leave the game running in the menu for 5 to 10 minutes to let it compile all the shaders, after this reboot the game
Made sure the game is installed on an SSD
Verify the game files using Steam

NVIDIA Users:
Open the Nvidia Control Panel, go to Manage 3D settings, find Shader Cache Size, and set it to 10GB (or more).

AMD Users:
Open AMD Software Adrenalin Edition and disable Chill

DEV NOTE: Launch options change (DirectX12)
Hello everyone,

We wanted to inform you about an important change regarding the launch options for Crime Boss: Rockay City.

In some cases, the game has been launching with DirectX11 instead of DirectX12, which can lead to crashes and other issues.
To address this, we are temporarily forcing DirectX12 through the Steam launch parameters.
