Why Another Monopoly?
Just why. Another Monopoly Video Game adaptation, Ubisoft already has Monopoly Plus and Monopoly Madness available. You want a better Monopoly experience, Play Monopoly in real life!
You don’t need a Ubisoft Account or be connected to an Internet Connection to play it in real life. Just like with Uno

At this point I wonder if it's a license thing, or a push from Hasbro.

They're even wasting money 'protecting' (infecting) this thing with Denuvo.

I don’t get why Ubisoft is making ANOTHER Monopoly Video game, its Monopoly.

The obvious downsides is it requires a Ubisoft Account and their pesky launcher nobody wants (nobody). Monopoly in real life is always a better option since that one doesn’t require a Non-Functional launcher and can be played without internet, or power.
why $30 lmao
I would've happily talked my friends into getting it if it was $10-15
but $30?
no
good luck on that

I don't see the reason why Monopoly Plus has been removed from sale and was replaced with this garbage that has the same or even more broken features Monopoly Plus already had.

GG

Ubisoft could have just released a simplified version of Monopoly, something close to the NES/SNES version, but with modern simplified graphics, and release it DRM free on all platforms, including GOG. With both local and online play, cross platform, and release it cheap. People would have been fine with this. Sometimes simple is better. But no, they have to ruin it.

They also removed Monopoly for the Switch from the eshop to sell this crap for $30. Nah. I'll be going to GameStop and buy a used physical copy I found for $15.

These companies have lost all passion for making games. It's sad.

There's a cheaper improved version of this game. It's called fortune avenue, have a look, it's on Steam
