I played it several years ago on my old PC and it worked fine. I wanted to play it again on my new computer but this ffxiiiimg.exe don't launch. I tried in windowed mode, fullscreen mode, with the FF13Fix, deactivated DEP or whatever but it still don't work, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

No im using Windows 10

so what worked for me is adding ffxiiimg (not the launcher) to the exemption list for DEP.

Step-by-step for windows users (im on w11)

1. win+R, then type "sysdm.cpl" without "" then press enter/click ok

2. click advanced

3. click settings under performance

4. go to data execution prevention

(it should be on by default)

5. click add, then find ffxiiimg, select it and click ok/add.

there ya go it should be on the list. Hope this helps!

So it does not work under normal conditions anymore? I added it to DEP and it works under Windows 11, but it's extremely choppy now. Before, it was extremely fluid.

how did you find ffxiiimg file? i cant find it

Strange, I got it working yesterday and today it isn't working anymore even though the DEP is still added. I tried to run the game in compatibility modes for Win Vista/7/8 but no good results there.

mine is not working , not responding when launching full screen even with this fix and others . using windows 10
