Faster animation setting?
Would be great if we could have a button to accelerate the animation.

The animations take so much time it would be much faster and convenient if we had a faster animation button so it don't take forever at each time we start a test.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think that would be possible since all animation and action is a combination of scripted/choreographed animation and physics. If we sped up the scripted animations, then they would likely be out of synch with the physics actions. But I'll add it to the list of things to take a look at.

For the pricing its an excellent product. Thought the puzzles might be too simple but they were nicely challenging. Its a very nice pickup and high value for the price.

I had a lot of fun with this game, thank you.

Thank you Jimathus and BenWah! Jimathus, for an added challenge, once you've achieved 3 Golden Prunes on all levels, try going back through and find shortcuts for each for 1 and 2 Golden Prunes each. Also be on the lookout for a few Easter Eggs.

Let me start by saying this game is great. It's very addictive and you keep wanting to 'complete just one more.' Here are my thoughts after playing:

- There should be text upon mouse rollover of the icons in the menus. You can't always tell what each icon does just by looking at the graphic, and without text you are forced to click everything just to see what it does.

- The options has a text tutorial of how to play which is nice, but actually reading it is a pain. Neither the mouse wheel nor the down arrow key scrolls through the text. The only way to scroll is to left click and drag. This is rather annoying when you are only trying to read.

- Please add Steam Workshop. This game would be perfect for it.

I hope I was clear enough for you to understand what I mean. Nothing I mentioned is game breaking or anything serious like that, just minor things that would make it feel more user friendly. Great job on a nice, fun puzzle game that is pleasing to the eyes!

Totally awesome game! Just finished it and I enjoyed it very much! Looking forward to more levels ;-) I agree that Steam Workshop would be very nice and, even if you dont like the idea of music during puzzle solving, music during the replay sequence.

Steam Workshop would be a nice addition to this wonderful game

I noticed that two of the in-game achievements are for not using any hints and so I wonder if the item description you get when you click on an item is considered a hint or if only the more "hinty" hints you get when you click the right arrows in the description are.

It's possible that the distinction, if any, is already explained in-game and I just missed it. But if those are two separate things maybe that could be conveyed clearer in the UI somehow?

Another thing: Is it somehow possible to tell which levels you've found one prune solutions for after you've solved every level with 3 prune solutions? I know I have found some for a couple of the levels, but I don't remember which, and I don't immediately see any distinction between them in the level selection.

Just wanted to say that I'm enjoying this. I'm taking my time playing it by doing a puzzle or two a day. Takes me back to watching old Looney Tunes cartoons that had machines like these in them. I loved the music that usually accompanied them too. I still hum it to this day when I see a complicated process for what looks like a simple solution. Ha!

-Edit. sorry just realized this was the bug/improvement feedback section!

That's a really good question.
EDIT: I just tested this and no, the initial tap on an object to get its name does NOT count as a hint. Just the subsequent taps on the (>) button. I'll see about making this clearer in the Help text.

EDIT2: The tutorial does differentiate between getting the name of an object and a hint: Your first CLICK on an object tells you what it is. Then CLICK the right arrow for HINTS about how to use it.

I added clarification text in the Game Play help screen about this. Here's the updated description:
  • Click object to learn its NAME. Click right arrow for HINTS about how to use it. Objects have up to three HINTS.

(You can click an object for its name and still earn “No Hints Used” Achievements.)

Good point. I've added this to our bug database.

I've seen this request a few times. If I understand it correctly, this would allow others to create levels or mods to the game?

Thanks again!

UPDATE: In the new version, coming in mid-March, we were able to fix the scroll issue. So in this version, all screens with text can be moved through by either the scroll wheel, or the up/down arrows on your keyboard. The other issues remain in our bug database, maybe for a future update.

The number of Golden Prunes showing on the Level Select screen represents the highest number of prunes you've received for that level. So if you get 3 prunes, and then play again and get 1 prune, we still show the 3 prunes on that screen. When we tie our Achievements into Steam's Achievements, you should be able to see incremental progress towards an achievemeht, but still not be able to tell on which levels you've achieved 1 or 2 prunes.

What I do is just play through the whole game again from start to finish and complete each level with one prune. There are no achievements for getting two prunes, but it's still fun to see what other shortcuts you can come up with.

Savoring the game, nice! Thanks for letting us know. And for everyone here, we'd love it if you could review the game on Steam! (well, really prefer to get the thumbs up reviews :-)
