I think the developers have put the achievements on Steam, but not connected them to the game yet.

Bought the game today and found out it's not working yet. WHY???

Sorry about being MIA on Steam. Will try to do better. I finally have good news about the update. Many fixes have been made, and we'll see if we can get it live in two weeks (right after GDC - the big Game Developers Conference). One of the fixes is the achievements.

I *was* at GDC, but just enjoying myself, walking the expo, going to some awesome sessions (loved Brian Moriarty's Loom postmortem). I also was on a panel, "So you want to be a producer?". Did the achievements ever get fixed? I just discovered this game and was thinking of buying it, but I'll just keep on waiting if it's still not finished. (I wait till games are out of Early Access too for the same reason.)
