NPC not moving, can anyone help?
Hello, I started the game after some month without playing, and while I was wandering in white orchard, I noticed some NPC were not moving at many points in the middle of the road, instead of the wandering routine like usual.
I'm not talking about the ones that have animation and stay at one place, but the ones that should move on the roads.
At some point, there was 2 or 3 people stacked together, I guess that was a spawn of NPC.
I went to another region, where all seemed normal, and back to white orchard, but nothing changed, the villagers were standing without moving.
I tried to reload my save, restart the game, verify game files, but nothing changed.

I really love to replay the game just to explore the map and everything on it, but I have to admit that the NPC not moving and just staying lifeless is kind of an immersion breaker.

Anyone know this issue, and perhaps a solution?

try mediate and skip time few times , maybe they will un-stuck.

if not , as long as they are not important npc , you can set npc spawn value to 3 or 5 and then reload save, it should make them go away and then change the spawn value back.

in documetns/witcher 3 /user settings or dx12.

you can also try attacking them and scaring them so they move or move them with horse.

I tried both of your advice, unfortunatelly neither meditate or changing the spawn value worked.

I can scare them, but they will just run away a few meters away and then stood still again, it's like they forgot how to be NPC

which road was it on map where npc stand still , I can try looking myself to see if I run into similar issue, so then we can eliminate if the issue happens in all saves or only specific ones.

For exemple I have the problem on the main street of the village of white orchard, from the bridge where the TP point is to the blacksmith dwarf, every NPC that are supposed to walk around just stand still
