Did you go to where the villagers are standing in a circle discussing the situation? That's where it triggered for me, their reactions caused the girl to run, chase after her then you can talk.

I did, even at different hours. A woman keeps telling me to leave them be, but aside from that, nothing :c

OK, so I've just done this quest to check it out. You can't talk to the people in the circle, they will just tell you to leave them be. Listen to what they are discussing without interrupting them, they will talk about what happened and the girl will run off due to what they say. If she does not do this try meditating away from the circle. Did you leave a long enough time after freeing Yorg or did you go straight to the village?

When the girl runs off you should get a yellow ! and you can find her and talk to the girl.

ok the thing is I've returned many times on that spot where people are gathering. even at different hours of the day/night. I already tried meditating, not speaking to anyone but nothing happens. oh and I freed Yorg looong before the end of the story :( don't know if it's relevant but the girl (who is still inside the "circle") has in fact the yellow !

Did you ever get this fixed? i have the same problem right now and its kinda bugging me that i cant remove the ! from my map

sadly i didn't, i still don't know if there's any way around this, sorry :(
