Super excited the private server version got a Steam launch! However, I tried to launch this morning and it seems to still be attempting to connect to the official servers. Do I need to do anything special to start playing private matches?

I've seen others try and upload private servers over the years and they were taken down really fast, if not I'd contact the IP holder and ask or this more than likely won't last long if it even releases.

I hope KO City gets praise and attention for going this extra mile to make the game available forever. Too many games are completely disappearing and becoming unplayable simply because they don't plan ahead with private hosting options or offline modes. Tell your friends and share it on social media. This should be the model for all live service games....
