HIGH END PC = FPS LAG???
i still dont know why brawl lags.... i did the ping test and it came out fine and the game is still laggy in 1v1's. i mean idk how id be lagging on a gtx1070. amd cpu and 32 gb of ram i mean come on... the game is on a 1tb SSD. idk what i can do to make it run with out getting laggy games... ive switched to different servers and sometimes its still unplayable

A shame there's no way of playing on more than these fps.

I have this exact problem, i was just about to post about it. Its like a sudden groggy FPS drop that is insane to play around.

i7-6700k - Zotak 1060 6gig.
8 gigs of ram.

Same here, only recently it started happening. I used to play fine. It has to be FPS as the ping counter doesnt change and stays at a stable connection.

Mine happens mostly around high gfx sigs or anything mordex does.

hmm... it seems like some updates will fix it and other will make it unplayable... thats why i stopped playing ranked cus i lag too much to even try

I feel this, i was a plat, for two seasons now i cant get around the lag enough to climb out of gold. Its so trash. Makes me wana QQ

go to your nvidia control panel.
Go to 3d settings, and under application preferences choose brawlhalla.
Scroll down to performance, and change it from the default to maximum performance.

Lastly set brawlhalla as a real time priority in task manager.

Do this, it does actually work. I messed up a setting.
IT does work.

The setting isnt called performance, its called power options. Set it to performance and take it all off auto and set those setting to max. Works fine

The fix is purely for fps lag, connection lag is still a thing. And there are variables I'm sure neither of us know about yet. But we can work with what we do know.

I haven't owned a pc in months, but if you can enable the fps counter inbrawlhalla that would help narrow down the issue. I'm not sure if you'd need to use a 3rd party program for this or not.

The only map i get low fps is grumpy temple every other map I am fine with.

runs at 60fps and the lowest i saw it drop while playing was 41
