I think it's in the 2nd to the last settings then adjust your preferred minimum & maximum resolution percentage. I think 66% minimum is the quality. I'm still downloading the game lol.

The above poster is correct. You can find DLSS in the AA option in Graphics. Then you set the resolution percentages. I run at 66% max (4k monitor) and 50% minimum. I imagine it will adjust automatically between those 2 settings. I didn't see a way to remove auto other than setting both min and max to the same setting.

watching reveiws it seems that their implentation of DLSS is very weird. But it should be by max and min res scaling options

The game doesn't have DLSS upscalling, it has DLAA, which is part of the DLSS suite of tools.

you're 100% wrong you have to use res scaling and pick DLSS 100% 66% and so on. Its implemented very weird
It should be in the anti-aliasing options.

The game has DLSS upscaling.

Oh I see, that's really dumb :tgrin:

yes it is a dumb way to do it :)
Thank goodness you posted this. In the videos I saw on YouTube they all have DLSS and I couldn't find it. I thought I had some kind of problem. What a bad implementation by Square. On the other hand, the game keeps crashing on me, I can't advance. I'm seriously thinking about asking for a refund.

That's upscaling. going down to 66% resolution and then upscaling back to native with the help of Nvidia's ai. visuals its different but practically its the same as other games.

Turning on DLSS resulted in a 10-20% loss in performance for me on my 2070 vs TAAU.

So not using it. I think its just DLAA and it oversharpened everything too everything just looked worse with it on.

Just compare literally all foliage and grass in the game on DLSS and TAA it looks absolutely terrible on DLSS, it should be very clear the game is not designed with DLSS in mind.
