Like other titles in the EMIKA_GAMES library, April 24th delivers a creepy atmosphere packed with jump scares and unsettling characters that keep you on edge. While it isn’t a long game, it’s definitely a fun ride.

The start was a little confusing, but once I got into the story I was hooked. I only wish the backstory had been fleshed out more — the Investigator sometimes felt like an add-on instead of a fully integrated part of the plot. Still, the setting, the house, and its ghosts really pulled me in, and I found myself wanting to learn more.

It may not be the strongest entry in the EMIKA_GAMES library, but it’s not the weakest either. For me, it lands at a solid 6/10 — not perfect, but definitely worth the experience if you’re a fan of indie horror with atmosphere to spare.
