Steam probably didn't recomend it to you because steam version of the game only had japanese and chinese as language options until 3 days ago. As far as bonuses go I believe only the limited edition physical version has some and they are all physical goodies nothing in game

Also, I see Steam offfers a Deluxe version but the physical version is just the regular one, no?

The difference is that you get the digital versions of the soundtrack and book for the deluxe edition here, and the physical version has the actual physical CD and printed book. I just ordered that version, so I won't know if the Steam code unlocks only the normal version or the whole set until the end of the week at the earliest. But hey, I get a small plush too.

I got the physical steam edition and it saddens me a little.
The box got dented but that's besides the main point.

The physical and digital deluxe are similar except for obviously, the physical goodies, but also, while you do get the physical soundtrack, you don't get the artbook. You get a sort of short prequel novel, bout 5 chapters, but no artbook. The artbook is the only thing you get with digital deluxe that you cannot with physical. It's rather saddening to me. If I want to look at the art book, I'd currently need to fork over another 62 bucks on top of my 90 dollars I spent on the Lucid Noir box.
