Stopping the commodity window from swapping views?
Is there any way to stop the commodity window from changing constantly?
It's extremely tedious and makes trying to be a trader a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hassle.
I seldom express hate on things in games because they usually fill some sort of function and some decent intent, but it changing view every 2 seconds between in stock and every commodity is just horrible design. You have more than enough screen-space to accodomate both or at least give us the option to manually swap it.

I agree and I don't know of a way to change that. Checking the stock for a commodity at a station and then flying there only to find its sold out or gone up/down in price really bites. I didn't bother trying to be a trader I just mined for the expensive stuff and sold that. In another game I'm playing called X4 they've done it right and you can view the prices and buy or sell from the trade window, then fly there to perform the trade at the price you got at that time and know that the stock will be there. If you really want to play the space trucker then X4 might be a good option.

Got over 1k hours in X4 over the years, but I greatly appreciate the suggestion!

The problem in RG isn't so much that the prices has gone down, X4 is very unique in the aspect that you can call dibs on a price, but more that it's so erratic in it's design of presenting prices. You have to wait for the prices to appear (or station if you're looking in commodities) and if you're not fast enough at finding the *one* commodity you're curious about then you have to wait again :P
