We’ve carefully reviewed player feedback and suggestions.

We’ve made a number of improvements and changes to enhance your experience:

• Enabled Force Feedback for physical steering wheels. We know many wheel users have been eagerly waiting for this, and we hope it makes your gameplay significantly better!
  
• Fixed a bug with trophies in multiplayer where the wrong trophy was awarded.
  
• Added 3 new country flags.
  
• Introduced the option to change the country flag in the settings.

Sound Updates

• Replaced music on the 'Stadium - Evening' track.
  
• Fixed audio problems when awarding coins post-race.

Art Updates:

• Enhanced contrast for leaves and tree trunks in the Forest biome
  
• Improved visibility of opponents' wheels.
  
• Made the Parking lot and Harbor biome markings clearer and easier to navigate.

We’ll soon introduce a dedicated Training Mode to help new players get comfortable with the game’s controls more easily! 🎮🏎️

VR Racers!

We're super excited to watch you jump into an EXO car and hit the track today.
Important information in this post will help you get a smooth first experience with the game.


EXOcars features multiple game modes to suit different racing fans and keep it fresh.

In this mode, you race against not some AI opponents, but 'ghosts' of real players who have already completed the track. Opponents are matched to your skill level, ensuring you get a fair and fun challenge.

You will race through 9 different biomes to unlock all tracks, earn rewards, and climb the leaderboards.
The core value is in replayability: this mode lets you progress organically, honing your skills against increasingly challenging opponents every time you replay a track — without the need to be online every day.

And for obvious reasons, car collisions are disabled in this game mode.

Play with up to 3 friends or random players. Car collisions can be set ON or OFF in the lobby settings.

It's a 4-player fun alternative mode! While racing, players can pick up weapons from boxes along the track, each providing a unique power-up.

Attack the opponent overtaking you with a homing missile or a volley of rockets! Slow down your rivals and speed yourself up! Defend against players behind you using mines and a shield!

In this mode, players can have all the fun they want, pushing opponents off the track and battling their way to victory! But stay alert—your rivals won’t go easy on you!

Limited-time events with real prizes and an entry fee in in-game currency earned in other game modes. The first big tournament is scheduled for November 28, so stay tuned and follow XOCUS on socials or Discord for more details.

In this post, we’re excited to introduce you to the different modes in EXOcars!

First up is Asynchronous Multiplayer. In this mode, you'll race against "ghosts" of other players who have already completed the track, following the exact paths from their previous races. Ghosts are pulled from the global leaderboard, matching your rank. If you finish first, tougher opponents await you, providing a constant challenge. This mode is perfect for climbing the leaderboard, winning awards, and even beating the records of friends or favorite VR creators!

Real-Time Multiplayer lets you race against live opponents! Choose between clean, collision-free racing, or, if you’re up for some chaos, try the collision mode as you race through mountains, deserts, and cities.

Another exciting mode is Combat Mode in EXOcars VR multiplayer! In this mode, players can pick up weapons from boxes along the track, each offering unique power-ups. Attack with a homing missile or a volley of rockets, slow down rivals, boost yourself, or protect with mines and shields!

Only 2 days left until launch, and soon you’ll be able to experience all these modes!

We’re excited to announce a playtest for EXOcars, the VR racing game from XOCUS!

And here’s the second piece of good news!
After releasing the EXOcars trailer, the most common question we got was about steering wheel and pedal support. We’re happy to confirm that EXOcars will support wheels and pedals for PS VR2 and PC VR at launch!
While the game is fun with standard controllers, using a steering wheel and pedals adds realism and immersion. Wheels provide precise control, while pedals improve acceleration and braking.
The XOCUS team is hard at work to ensure a thrilling racing experience!
