How to reset his game?
Hello, I am looking for a technique to reset the game. If anyone manages to find a technique on steam, please send me the solution.

Hey Asofa!

You can't start a new game in Assassin's Creed Unity unless you manually delete your save files.

Steam - C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[Ubisoft Connect ID Number]\857

Deleting the 857 file and launching the game again should allow you to start a new save game.

Note: You may need to disable the cloud save functionality within Ubisoft Connect in order for you to start a new save file without the old save file being re-downloaded and overwriting it. To do this, open the Ubisoft Connect game launcher and select the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the window and select Settings from the drop-down menu. Un-check the option Enable Cloud Save Synchronization for support games and click Save at the bottom of the Settings window. Now you can delete your save data and start a new save file. Once the new save file has been created and saved locally, you can re-enable the cloud save once again. The next time you launch the game with the cloud re-enabled, you will be prompted to choose between the local and cloud save file. Choose the local save file to upload that to the cloud so there will be no more save file conflicts.

Why make it so difficult?

Because it's a workaround. There is no easy way.
Did it help you, medion_no?

Hi Ubi-Vinci,
I tried the above way but Ubisoft Connect always syncs back the savegame. Is there any other way we can start a new game?
Greatings,

I'm not sure, Antafes.

The only confirmed way to do it is what's written above.

I would maybe add "launch Ubisoft Connect and Steam, disconnect the Internet, and launch the game form UC"

The UC will not be able to sync saves or download any, so maybe it will start a new game.
I say maybe, as this is an old workaround that worked on the old, retired version of Ubisoft Connect. It may not work in the new one.

The solution on top already helped. I completely overlooked the part about deactivating the could saves. That part should be highlighted in the text ^^

Glad to hear it, Antafes.
As for the post above, I cannot edit it anymore.
I will close this thread now as resolved. Enjoy the game.
