Def. Edition in 2025, worth buying?

Hello community, I own the base game and wanna get all the dlc's, so I decided to buy the Def. Edition.

Is it worth it in 2025?

Are there many bugs?

Is it playable without mods, unofficial patches?

Are there many bugs? - Some minor ones, but nothing that's going to ruin things for you.

Is it playable without mods, unofficial patches? - Yes. There is a community balance patch which is great, but it plays just fine without it.

I dont think this game will ever age in gameplay.

I'd say it's worth it...
I also think it needs the ELCP (the community patch). Otherwise I ran into lots of soft locked missions and the AI took no effort to steamroll. I don't remember many crashes though.

Though we still can't get multiplayer to work...
