mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, it's a shame we can't have both. I don't think tactical movement and/or situational awareness are inhibited by first person and it's certainly much more immersive but 3rd person isn't a deal breaker, I thoroughly enjoyed Splinter Cell and played the crappers out of Breathe of the Wild so I'm in as long as the game is tickety. Even iron sights ala Phantom Pain would be great because that made the combat heckity hell fun (and first person). Anyway, good luck with the game, and I assume there will be english subtitles at launch?
As you mentioned, first-person perspective can definitely enhance immersion, and we completely understand how a game like Phantom Pain left a strong impression.
While our current design focuses on third-person for tactical reasons, we’re also exploring ways to expand the experience—such as aiming systems or hybrid perspectives.
And yes, we’re planning to fully support English subtitles at launch! 🎯🎮
