Vehicles won’t work properly on controller

So I’m playing this game after a while because I got a new controller, and overall it works great. Feels nice to use and doesn’t seem to have any sort of hurtles in gameplay, that is until I got into a vehicle and the accelerator won’t work. I have no idea if it’s a bug in game or the controller specifically won’t work when driving vehicles, but I really want to get this fixed. Any suggestions?

Did and no luck so far. It’s specifically when I try to use vehicles it won’t budge, anything else it’s fine. I don’t know if it’s something to do with the trigger maybe or a weird bug.

You can check your hardware in the gaming device settings. Press Win+R and run

joy.cpl

to see available devices. You can check the controls and calibrate the device in the properties. And it wasn't me before...
