In episode 3 (Ripples) Quest 8 (The Conclave), the last choice I made was "STAY TO ASSIST...", and I left Godoy's balcony, but now none of the doors leaving the balcony are open, whether they are doors back to Godoy's room or my room - They all appear to be locked. What can I do to leave, and what could cause this? A walk through just says to enter a different room from the balcony, but every door is locked and shows a "-" so they cannot be opened....

I havent tried it since like forever but never went more than maybe an hour into it, since i have limited space i want to know if this is a worthwhile experience that i should clean a bit of space for. Thanks in advance

How do you fix these extremely low fps?

Which side did you pick in the end? Was it different than the one you picked before and what did you do with Piaggi's letter (do what Mortimer wanted or no?). I kept with Mortimer. I don't like him, but I think he is the better of the two sides.

This game crossed my favourite era - the Georgian era, with all the twists and turns of history, the French revolution, the new country in North America, the great leaps forward in science, art and literature - with my favourite game genre, mystery, with added RPG elements that actually worked. It also helped that, at least initially, choices really did have consequences. It felt like this game was tailor-made for me. What a massive shame, then, that it fell to pieces.
