The deserts are merciless - the Lorn Vale demo has now concluded.

We want to thank you from the bottom of our heart for playing the demo: you've shared your thoughts on balancing, crafting and more, and you've helped us identify bugs and issues to fix.

Bugs/things which doesent work atm

Gamebreaking: - cleared the Tomb for the Collar Quest, theres a crystal Pyramid with the Artefact, which u cant interact with/ break it, throwing stones/ punching/kicking against it, even tried Metal Pickaxe on it, nothing so I cant progress -> so wooden stick headgear is usless cause u cant get rid off the collar. - Camp Kit does nothing with right click/ cant interact with it at all etc. - Both Stone- and Metal Pickaxes doeset work on Big Rocks or Sand Crystals, it says there is no tool and the Symbol fo...

Our latest hotfix includes the following changes:

The player should no longer be able to freely lock/unlock locks without owning a key first (picking locks is still possible);
The player will no longer get ambushed while unconscious;
Liquid containers are now (finally) fully functional;
Dropping items on the ground in the open world will now correctly spawn a searchable object at the player's feet; (This currently doesn't work while the player is inside locations);
The "Drinking Buddies" quest should now correctly interact with the player's inventory
Gunter should now correctly retrieve the lance barrel from the player when the quest is complete

Thank you for all your reports - keep them coming so we can make Lorn Vale as smooth as the desert sands.

Demo Patch Notes #3

Thank you for your continued support of our demo!

The following fixes are save game compatible:

Fixed a crash when stealing the last item in a stack.
Fixed leather flask not holding liquids.
Empty bottles are now containers and can now hold liquids; (Newly generated worlds will replace "Empty bottle" with "Glass bottle").
Iron chest plate armor rating value changed from 20 to 5.
Fixed scrap and stone pickaxe not functioning as pickaxes.
Dryrock guards should no longer get stuck while patrolling.
Added a screen shake toggle option in the Escape Menu.
Crafting UI now correctly indicates the type and level of crafting/cooking station the player is using.
Using the camp kit now deploys a camp with a bed, a stash and a campfire.

The following fixes will require a new Player Profile:

Fixed unique keys sometimes not being able to unlock the locks they were meant for (This will require a new world).

SPOILERS THE END OF THE CURRENT GAME? WHAT NOW?

So I have removed my collar. I am level 11 have full reclaimed set and a pimped out thunder. The mining crystal mini game is very beyond unplayable so I don't know how I am supposed to make my own ammo. So looks like its just scrap ammo for me. Apart from that this game is a lot of fun. My question would be has anyone managed to get the collar off the big guy at Dry Docks or is he just scripted to die?...
