Jugué el primero y el segundo, me quedan por probar los dos últimos q sacaron y la verdad es una saga maravillosa,muy completa que tenes de todo tipo de emociones, desde intriga,emoción,miedo porque tiene misiones muy tensas jajaja, en fin juegazo

Metro 2033 is one of the best games ive ever played, its all about managing your ammo, controlling enemies, and knowing when to engage. it all about tactical gameplay and its damn awesome

Metro 2033 is a very atmospheric shooter.

Ukrainian developers "4A Games" excellently adapted Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky's Metro book series.
Of all the games it can be compared only to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R franchise, but the influence is clear as the devs worked previously for "GSC Game World" which made the Stalker games.

Metro 2033 is a highly atmospheric and immersive game, even the Redux version which improved greatly on all aspects but might have had to sacrifice a bit of early 2010s euro-jank and atmosphere.
There is much discourse on which version is better, hundreds of videos comparing the two.
Don't stress yourself, just play Redux.

Playing in the original Russian language is a far better experience, even if with subtitles.
Speaking Russian language and knowing USSR culture helps a lot.

I played on Survival difficulty, Ranger Mode.
The intended way for an unforgiving but immersive horror experience.
No HUD or UI with lethal combat and limited resources, made my first time playthrough a living hell.
(As a gamer you step up to the challenge & adapt or you give up like a filthy casual game journalist normie.)

Completed the game no problem :)
Very challenging but fun.
Once you get the hang of it and find good weapons, you breeze through if you play smart.


It is impossible not to mention and compare Metro to Fallout.
But these games are very different, the only thing they have in common is the post-apocalyptic setting.
I'd say Metro is closer to Bioshock in gameplay and feel than Fallout.


Very good game, aged well, Redux version helped.
Off to the next installment.

Absolute cinema

Finished Review: Amazing. Dragged me into the atmosphere and kept me wanting more. Something about the Metro/Stalker/Tarkov world (just like reading Dostoevsky) just makes me want to do better IRL and makes me feel a completely different way about empathy.

1) Steam Cloud doesn't work for me, and I ended up in a situation where I needed to reinstall my OS, which ended up with me with no save file and no inspiration to replay, my hours are because of this.

2) This is not like stalker. It may have anomalies, and be janky, and Ukrainian, but the first six hours had maybe 2 big fights on hardcore that were fun. I died more times to holes in the ground and pesky guerrilla warfare.

3) On the other hand, like STALKER, you play this to get immersed into a world and feel a part of it, not to just shoot things. Kinda makes me wish Tarkov worked on Linux.

This is how you make a game, with the intent of making players enjoy it and be invested on it, rather than for money and greed

Highly recommend, not overwhelming with action and pretty straight forward with where you need to go.

Library was such a chill area.
The initial ending or "bad" ending was pretty sick.
Worth giving 100% completion a go. It's a masterpiece.

Moral grey post apocalyptic survival. Game spans over just shy of 8 days. But the experiences within will last my life time. Various people come to aid and lead you on in your journey: greedy, novice, veterans, comedic, and a soul full guide plus more. Alas a large ordeal of the struggles are your own to deal with. Be it the Russian metro system or decaying city above. Take refugee, hide, run, fight back. Everything and everyone struggles to live on. You can run past everything to complete your journey. Or. Bask in the world. Every creature has a story, even if they don't speak. Human mortals and life experience dictate the people of the metro. An immense rich world with aspects that go beyond conventional story telling. A franchise that has been with me in my youth and to this day. This game is worth playing for its survival horror alone, but has so much more. I hope I could watch a few more friends play and open to to this franchise the way I have grown with it.
