It's great to finally have someone to talk to when it comes to the game.
(Just be prepared for an awful lot of haters in here)
Is the stickied thread still the best place to post about issues, or has that changed?
I'd like to help as much as possible to improve the game for everyone!
Also the washed out blurry look of F1 2015 is a big step back from F1 2014 and earlier titles.
I have a fast i7 system with a GTX 980 card , 16GB ram etc and this game looks the worst I've seen for years . PCars is in another class. Will you be giving us PC users the game we all thought we were getting and deserve ?
1) Modding capacity. your .erp archives files are a real pain for modders. This make the game lifetime a lot shorter.
2) Multiplayer friendly. your game is not multiplayer friendly. Creating COOP is only possible with a sheet of paper to write down the results. Creating Public lobby is not possible. Only joining an automatic created session or play with people in your friendlist. This make the game lifetime a lot shorter.
3) No Career Mode. You released the game too fast and you'll add the feature back in F1 2016. It's robbing people who bought F1 2015. This make also the game lifetime a lot shorter.
4) Not supporting controllers. When developping a simulation game, it's better to include as many controllers as possible. This make also the game lifetime a lot shorter.
The game isn't worth the price. For half the price, you get F1 2013 with career mode, safety car, mutli coop, public lobby, modding capacity, controller fully supported, more force feedback, ... and also more confortable for low end PC. I feel Codemasters fooled a lot of fans with F1 2015.
Also I don't understand codemasters's approach. Codemasters is in the driving simulation game for a very long time now. They should be very aware of what are players expectations in that genre. My first codemasters game was "Colin McRae Rally 2.0". It was an amasing game for the time. And I'm sure that every new game that comes out give you more and more experience.
And today I see F1 2015. Bad Reviews everywhere. Lot of Bugs. Missing Features, Disappointed users, Web racing leagues angry, ...and then suddenly communication :
"1) welcome me the new voice of codemasters
2) we are listening to you
3) we all moved to F1 2016 already
4) we need you to test F1 2016
5) stay in touch from the very beginning even the design phase...."
What's wrong at codemasters ? Did you miss a step somewhere ?
Or maybe "the master of code" just left the office ?
I still think you've the competence and knowledge to bring good games to the market but what you did with F1 2015 will stay in my memory for a long time.
I contunie the topics and forums about F1 2015 updates and patching from the beginning, but suprised that nobody nowhere mentioned yet what for Im begging: AI realism.
Im not interested in multi, i prefer like offline gaming against AI with 100% realism set up full long races weekends etc...but for me its really very boring and unrealistic that the AI never has any mechanic failure, doesnt crash, or even they crash they no retire just come back to track and continue their race without issues...or go into pit but continue also....do the Codemaster developing team follow up the F1 championship how its working in the real life ?
From the 20 pilot always finish maximum 12-14 with normal sunny weather conditions. Ive already completed 2 seasons in expert level, but I could count on my half hand how many cars retired...this is not realistic.
Could anything be developed ? Or if you could tell me how and where I can set up this only for myself manually, that would be great.
Thanks
So if the realistic damage of AI could be change somehow for me this would be the best F1 edition from Codies (okay, career mode and sc missing, but next time hope they will come back)
Despues del parche de noviembre, el juego esta corriendo en 10 fps en una PC buena, y en una PC gama media el juego corre perfectamente bien. Que paso? como puedo solucionarlo?
