Hey, Lightbearers!

In this thread, we’ll collect and post some current known issues for Into the Emberlands. We will update it along the way as we fix bugs and (as it inevitably happens in game development) new ones appear.

Everything in this list is known to us and you won’t need to inform us about it as we are already working on fixing it.

• Sometimes when picking up an item in the Flower Biome, game time seems to severely speed up, driving up Ember use while moving.
  
• Quickly skipping dialogues can lead to a soft-lock, preventing you from moving. This can usually be solved by using something from your inventory or quitting and continuing the game.
  
• When selecting a save, at times "New Journey" is displayed, despite it being an existing save game. By selecting "New Journey" the save game can be continued.
  
• Quitting in the middle of a dialogue and loading another save can load to a soft-lock.
  
• The "Demand" at Vending Machines is not displayed on rare occasions
  
• Repairable buildings aren't always highlighted with an exclamation mark.
  
• The playtime isn't displayed correctly for the save games.
  
• When the task list has multiple "Repair house" quests , completing one crosses off all, though this doesn't count as completing the others.
  
• There is one dialogue text in the tutorial in which the input prompt is shown as text rather than converted to an icon, "{TutorialSubmit}".
  
• Occasionally after using the metro, the gamepad cursor isn't displayed
  
• The game does not reliably show gamepad input glyphs using gamepad / Steam Deck.
  
• Widescreen is not fully supported yet and can lead to issues like a flickering cursor or cut-off edges, so we recommend playing in 1920x1080p resolution for now.
