I've restarted my run and leveled to the point where I can buy the Target with only 3 blobs max in orbit. I shoot blobs until all 3 are lined up in the orbit of the Target drone, and deploy it. After it destroys all 3 blobs, the mission does not pop. Is there something I'm missing?...

Cancer essence is so incredibly tedious, it singlehandedly made me stop caring about the game, because: its so incredibly slow to collect there is NO indication of when the next progression step is, so I'm left wondering why nothing I buy unlocks the next essence, and I can't buy the next essence, only for it to just suddenly appear "oh look crits". cool. making the drone move to snap the ball to it is incredibly awful because your cursor destroys everything the ball would have hit, so you have to path a...
