not everything needs to one shot you

Okay, so I absolutely love this game. It's a great lethal company like game but plays differently enough that it feels unique. I only don't recommend it because I have a lot of problems with the multiplayer. Any time I make a private room and try to invite my friends, it doesn't send anything, they just can't join. This forces me to make an 8 player lobby that's not finished yet. When I make these lobbys with a certain friend, the non host let's disconnected every time we both enter the room with the two doors that you need to decode. And it sucks because there is no way they can join again unless I also leave and restart the whole day. I understand that this game is still being worked on, which is why I don't recommend it yet. But still great job to the developers!

Shovelware at a $2 price tag to make the effort of refunding it seem more trouble than it's worth.

The game is repetitive, poorly balanced, and cannot compete with the polish of similar games in its niche like REPO, or even Lethal Company which it was no doubt inspired by and should have been able to learn lessons from.

The maps are full of enemies with no tact in their tracking or attacks. They have no aura or presence. There is no time to be intimidated when they simply walk up and kill you. It makes me wonder what the health bar was even for. Walking into bushes?

The AI is limited in a way that feels like Pacman. I'm just running around halls trying to collect the little pellets for score until the ghosts trap me in a corner and turn me inside out.

Big scary telephone head walks up and saws my chest POV you died style and my corpse gets floppy.
Mothman sprints up to me like he's got wallhacks and sucks my chest POV style + i died again.
Some stupid snake just follows me around the whole game until he gets his teehee petrified off on me and I'm forced to sit there, with nothing happening, for like 30 seconds or something.
Being paralyzed for that long in any other game would be tense because I'd actually feel the stakes of what could happen to me or care about the outcome. In this game, I managed to be paralyzed 3 times, where each time I just was allowed to sit there and stare at my screen, hearing the monsters who were nearby get further away. It seems like the strat is to just let it paralyze you so it'll leave you alone rather than trying not to look at it for the entire duration of being inside.

What's worst of all is that I get the vibe that game doesn't really value your time. It takes over a minute just to get to the function, and by the time you're coming back, the path back's full of dudes - who again - one shot you with a grab attack if you get too close. Very tedious and punishing in a way that does not allow you to feel any of the emotions people are looking for in a game like this.

Just play REPO.
