*The story pack continues the events of the main game. You can opt for skipping ahead to the start of the Secrets of the Spires story pack content. This will skip ahead through the events of the main story and equip you with everything you need to experience the story pack content. To begin, go to your quest log and select the quest "Anufi’s Favor”.


A new map area, Spires of the Clouded Forest, is available:

Navigate and discover new biomes like the Tangled Peaks, Splintered Arches, Warrior’s Rise and more!

Deepen the bond with your ikran and unlock new skills and gear.

Encounter new aerial threats and master your abilities to overcome them.

Interact with new flora and wildlife and discover new ways of gathering and traversal!

Progression Updates:

[All Platforms] You can now use skill points to unlock and upgrade several new skills for your ikran, such as Ikran Smash, Launch, Flares and more!




60 FPS Quality Mode – The game will run at 60 FPS using Quality Mode on Playstation 5 Pro

Increased internal resolution - The increased hardware performance allows the game to reach both higher FPS and higher rendering resolution, resulting in increased resolution in certain scenarios.

PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) - Integration of the new machine learning-based temporal upscaler PSSR, which uses the new ML-hardware of the PS5 Pro, bringing better quality and performance.

This update brings important fixes and updates, which you can find below:

Important: We're aware of an ongoing issue affecting PC players after the 24H2 Windows Update. We are working on identifying both the root cause and its resolution. Thanks for your understanding.

Notable Fixes:

• Owners of The Sky Breaker will no longer be locked out of their saves.
  
• Adjusted UI elements to more accurately indicate requirements for starting The Sky Breaker story pack.
  
• Custom key binding settings will no longer reset on game restart.
  
• A Match Made in Pandora quest is no longer impossible to complete.
  
• Familiar Echoes: Part 4 quest is no longer impossible to complete due to a missing NPC.
  
• Remedied issues where players had not received their Ubisoft+ monthly cosmetic rewards. Those eligible should now have the Upper Plains Rider Weapon Set, Rebellion Weapon Set and Resistance Scavenger Weapon Set available in-game.
  
• Fixed additional crashes and issues.

General Improvements:

Updated the menu visuals ahead of our new story pack, Secrets of the Spires.

The first story pack for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™, The Sky Breaker, is now available for owners of the Season Pass!

The Sky Breaker story pack:

• A new map area, the Heart of the Plains is available:

• Play through an all-new story campaign, side quests and new activities.

• Explore brand new environments, such as the Prism Fields, Feathered Grasslands, Stone Rapids - and more!

• Discover new Heartlands direhorse variants that are unique to this part of the Western Frontier.

• Encounter new enemy archetypes such as the AMP Defender and new RDA lieutenants protecting RDA Command Stations throughout the new area.

• Participate in the Great Games with various challenges to test your skills!

Notable Fixes:

• Purchased ikran patterns will be available on all saves, instead of being locked to a single playthrough.

General Improvements:

• Improved AI behavior.

• The Staff Sling has been balanced to better adapt to the player's level.

• You can now sprint for longer.

• You can now jump more consistently.

Progression Updates:

• You can now use skill points to permanently improve your character's damage, energy and health up to 4 times each after you have completed the main quest storyline. 

• You can now progress up to rank 25. 

• We have made some improvements to random loot and rewards. Loot now scales better with your character progression and random loot is more likely to be relevant for your slots most in need of an upgrade. 

• Added a new Legendary rarity category.

Direhorse Updates:

• The direhorse can now perform a Great Jump.

• It's now possible for the camera to switch shoulders while riding by performing a melee attack input.

• Improvements to the riding camera, handling and animation.

• While mounted on a direhorse you can now ride through deeper waters more effectively.
