Hello everyone, some of you might have noticed that we haven't been making any updates recently. You might have wondered about: What's with the game? Why is the bunker taking so long? What about bug fixes?

Here's a bit of information of what do we think of the game right now and what are we currently working on.

We are not happy with the current state of the game due to the amount of issues that the game had, both gameplay and overall issues.

We had a lot of trouble with unreal engine 5, such as:
Engine errors, bugs, glitches. Ue5 being performance heavy and having weird framerate drops. We also tried adding requested features by the community but we couldn't do that with the current version of unreal engine the game was using, such as voicechat . So, we have decided to switch the engine of this game to unreal engine 4.

We have decided to switch to an older version of unreal engine because the current one that the game is using didn't turn out to work very well. So the game is being reworked on an older, and a lot more stable unreal engine version so we can improve a lot of aspects that weren't as good in the current version the game has. This includes changing gameplay mechanics like reviving, fixing generators, quick time events, lobby system, spectating system and many other current mechanics that we aren't so satisfied to see how they turned out. We will also add new features that were very requested by most of you.

You can expect this stuff in the remake:
- A lot of bug fixes
- Proximity Voicechat
- A big rebalancing of the game, the survivor classes might get a big change
- Improved and rescripted reviving, spectating, generator repair, workshop, qte (buttons minigame), better lobby system (More information about lobby system in the future)
- Workshop will get optimization, and the items that you already had will get deleted automatically
- The maps will get remaked (in the future)
- Huge performance boost (at least for nvidia video cards)
- 4 generator repairing on police station survive and escape will get removed (because of the camping issues)
- Settings will get fixed and are not going to be as buggy as the current ones.
- There will be less ping because of network optimization.
- Police station is gonna get lighting and small layout changes (it will get remaked later)

Keep in mind that:

The first public testing will only have support survivor class and NITROUS PM56-C (Bull).
Only 4 players mode will be available.
Forest is not gonna be added until remaked
This decision was made for the balancing reasons, we want to make sure the game will be fair, balanced, and fun to play against the players.

We cant tell how much time this is going to take, but don't worry, we will keep you updated of how the remake is going.

About the bunker: We have decided to redo it, we were not happy with it's size and layout (with our original one). Case: Online bunker will have a original layout and look.

This might be not all of the information we have about the remake, wait for more information :)

Hello everyone, here’s the patch: v0.3.9.6.2

- Added Collision to some Pumpkins.
- Added a Fast Round Option for Survive and Escape, it's basically the old Generator Behavior 1 green, 1 blue.
- Added some candles
- Changed that Generator Repair will be canceled when an Animatronic Grabs you.
- Fixed that support could not see the Green outlines.
- Fixed the Exit Collision bug in the Police Station.

- Added Halloween Decoration on all Maps.
- Re-added and fixed the old font.
- Added more dust particles in the Police Station.
- Added that Some objects have a Hand Icon now.

- Attacks are now also Local. Except the Kestrel bullets, we still try to find a solution to let it fire flawlessly.

Hello everyone, here’s a big patch: v0.3.9.6

- Re-added Random Generators after a long time.
- Added the Classic Retar Skin, which is a super rare item.
- Changed and reduced the green item outline range, now visible only to support players.
- Extended the Elevator exit opening time from 52 seconds to 90 seconds.
- Updated the Generator Behavior in the Police Station (the forest map will be fully reworked in the future).
>You now need to activate every generator of each type to open the exit.
>You cannot repair a Blue Generator until all Green Generators have been fixed.
- Adjusted the hitbox for closets.
- Changed Emma's ability so she can only use the ceiling ability while standing.
- Fixed Lobby elements that displayed the wrong map and game mode for the client.
- Fixed ability icons showing completely white when the correct energy amount is unavailable, even after the cooldown is complete.
- Fixed backwards running animations.
- Fixed the last Retar’s attack animation, which appeared odd.
- Fixed an issue where RK could use his Rampage ability while crouched.
