Okey so i liked the nostalgic 2003 gameplay but after i saved every family member i could and it was sadly past midnight the game didnt skip to 6am. So i verified game files like AI helper recommended me to do and when i lunch the game again all my saves was wiped. OMEGALUL. At least it was before final boss because of the bug (So at least i did almost full nostalgic playthrough).

So the game has bugs on every corner and every time you rescue some family member you hope that he/she didnt get stuck or just dissapear straight from the texture.
Sadge i couldnt finish last boss because of 6AM bug and Save wipe.

Not recommended. I will not play again (it has about+-5 hours of action bugged game loop with solid atmosphere). Thats it.
Only way to play and enjoy the game is to speedrun the hell of it.

This game needs a remake!

This game is a kick from the past, returns me into my childhood. If u are considering playing this, take a not it is hard. But also rewarding after completing stuff. Have fun gaming!

After learning about this game from a youtube video, I decided to go on and buy it for fun. What I ended up getting was a fun survival horror with cool freaking vampires. If you ever get to try this game, definitely do go for it. Your fists are your greatest weapon in this game.

Gotta be honest, when I first saw the game I thought it was gonna be a fun game, but then I actually played it....
I liked the story (somewhat but I do consider it neat) and the atmosphere, but it's the gameplay that's really dragging the game down.
As someone has stated, the concept for a timed game with escort missions where you have to travel back to the beginning is a horrible idea, especially when the NPCs can easily die (I had to reload multiple saves because family members would randomly die when going into another room, which yes also happens to the player) and you don't even get a map of the place (and it doesn't help that some rooms look EXACTLY like the other rooms in the castle).
The AI for NPCs is wonky, the stamina system is HORRIBLE, even reloading guns can cause you to lose random ammo (the ONLY way to avoid this is to only reload when you have 0 ammo in your mag), fighting multiple enemies is a terrible idea with the already crappy movement (not to mention the stamina again....), family members also randomly die and the ONLY way to save them is to basically know every nook-and-crany of the game.
I REALLY wanted to like this game, but it's wonky and glitchy gameplay is dragging it down. Even looking online I've seen people mention how nowadays people only really play the game for nostalgia and I do have to agree, and apparently even when the game came out people had the same-ish complaints that I and others have with the game.
It is weirdly a very short game, despite the huge castle, and at least the areas load in very quickly (sometimes....) so that's something.
