I see the OP bought "Unity of Command" which is normally a $19 war game, and this one is only $15, so don't see his point (I suspect that the OP probably bought UoC on sale though).

You have to understand that war games are a niche market, which means that they don't sell as many, which means that the price has to be higher for them to stay in business. In turn, most war gamers understand this and don't mind paying more for games that support their gaming interests.

In any case, $15 is cheap for a war game!
