Setting to auto-start the game in one of the game modes

I would like an option added in Settings to pick a default game mode. When one has been set, the game should start in the chosen mode instead of the main menu.

if we're requesting features let me throw in that it would be great to be able to backspace on setting your score initials, and also if numbers were added but i can live without the numbers
