My server has gained nearly 70 players in only two weeks. It has a few regulars, too — at least one of which choose this world the first server they ever played.
And that is why we are making this post.

Existing players who have visited other public worlds immediately point out that The Almostis isn't like other servers they've played on.
You can not build anything on unclaimed land, nor dig for resources. You need a claim of your own, or for someone to grant you builder permissions or higher in order to to dig or build.

Claims cost coins — as do costumes — and to get coins you must fight.
Well, "must" is an exaggeration; fighting night\dusk creatures is one way, but there are a few others. Namely, chests and codex quests.
(The default quests are completely gone, replaced with entirely new quest of my creation. I am\have re-adding\re-added the default quests' rewards to the game in other ways, though.)
There are a handful of simple quests, like cooking bread and opening treasure chests that exist to help new visitors get the coins they need to get their first claim.

More info available on signboards in the spawn room of The Almostis itself.
