Hotfix 4.2.1.1
Hello everyone, in the last days we have received reports about the game hanging during the launch of worlds, we have narrowed this down to a change in the mod.io API permissions, which caused Creativerse to fail some queries.

This was affecting only the cases where the template of that world had not been hashed by the game installation yet (the presence of a valid hash allowed the game to ignore that query failure in the other cases)

Game version: 4.2.1.1
Client build: 15521528
Server build: 15521534

This version is fully compatible with version 4.2.0.0

It is not necessary to update the existing dedicated servers unless you want to run a world with a new template that had not been hashed yet.

For any problem you may be still experiencing you can:
- post here
- write to support@playfulstudios.com
- post in our Discord server: https://discord.com/invite/creativerse
- contact me on Discord: entuland#7134

Cheers!

Can't tell without knowing what you tried already - if you expected multiplayer across different connections to work out of the box without any additional actions, that's not the case anymore since the release of TDE, when we stopped hosting worlds on our servers.

You can see the details about how the current multiplayer system works in the guide, which is pinned in these forums and linked by the game: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rAeuk7qFinUyPRJGk4x6Dim3rmQN2zoLaR3PNR0roU4

The main point is that you may need to add port forwarding to your router in order for your world to be joinable from outside your LAN - if the guide isn't enough to sort things out you can contact me on Discord - entuland#7134 - to receive live support, that would be the fastest way to investigate and see if we can help you set things up.
