This is a generally bi-weekly contest starting today and ends two to four weeks on the next Saturday. We do not expect jaw dropping builds, but expect an attempt at making something very suitable for the contest. Please have fun with the builds, and know this is to challenge you and build things you have never done before.

This is the last of 4 themes to have fun with the new content. (Anyone running creative mode can quickly find these under Haunted, Retro, Thatch, and Decoration.)

Creativerse has no end of massive builds, very creative builds, and just plain pretty builds. In most cases, players use blocks in ways the blocks weren't intended to be used, except for the fact that the developers are banking on this behavior. So... all the blocks are TOTALLY intended to be used in ways that they "weren't intended to be used", if that makes sense. They want you to be creative! (The name of the game probably gave that away.)

With new blocks comes new ways to use them. Monster hair, painted green and covered in water, makes a lovely seaweed bed. Monster scales painted brown make for very interesting tile work. A gray or tan gelatinous block makes the perfect alien surface for that moon base you always wanted to build. And the eyes... every side of them is creepy IMO, but you can probably find plenty of creative ways to use them.

Pro tip: Place a couple monster eyes with a block of space between them. Cover them with galactic portholes like a pair of glasses. Then watch them as you move around. THE EYES FOLLOW YOU! I used this trick in my Marvin the turtle build (the steampunk goggles). It's great fun. And it's hopefully inspiring!

And that is this 3 weeks' contest: using the new blocks in ways they weren't intended to be used (because the devs intended for you to do this). Use your noodle and have some fun!

All entries must be original work done by you. Participants submitting another builder’s work will be disqualified from the current challenge. No blueprints by another person may be used unless it is part of the challenge. However, you can certainly use your own bp's in your building process. Entries must adhere to the theme and have some effort put into them but we encourage even if you cannot build as well as some to enter your work.

Winners will be chosen on a lottery system. Your submitted build will be your lottery ticket and we will draw names at the end of the deadline. Each participant will have one submission toward the win. However, you may submit as many builds as you wish.

We currently have no prizes for the contest. As of the Dec 2022 update, coins are gone. We don't yet have any ideas for future prizes, but we're keeping our eyes peeled.

This is a fan run challenge. We are hosting these events solely as Creativerse players and fans. The only thing Playful Corp does for us is pinning the contest.
