I bought this some time ago and wanted to start playing today.

I have only the "new game" option. I don't skip tutorial. The story intro runs, and the there is a screen saying "loading". However, it never completes. The game never starts.

Same happens to me!!! Totally unplayable :(

You'd expect the develpers to drop by a week after they dropped a new patch just in case they left the game in an unplayable state.

Yeah, got a new computer and thought I´d play again after quite a while, first I got a resolution error (""fixed"" by changing the desktops resolution to a lower one), then by clicking the options button i´d get a black screen, and if I quit and just try to start a game I get the same "stuck at loading" problem.
Seems like once you get in you can´t interact at all with the game.
Hope this gets fixed soon, used to think this was quite the nifty game.

I don't think the developers are aware of it.

Hey, got the same exact problem here. Can't start new game and can't also get into the settings screen. Always end up in the black screen of death. Get your Sh&t toghether Cold Rice!

wish i had back story of the developer, long story short he had problems irl time/financial and family to care of so being the only developer of interstellaria, He has litle time to look at this game sadly but he still try to fix it when time allows it

since his last fix he also it made open for modders to add content or change the game, so far i just can open the game and get stuck at loading. will update if i get it to run

ok dont know how but im ingame but the next problem is there, no controls will update again. So far did clean install of the game and got past loading screen

I got it to work by dropping my desktop resolution to 800x600

Not working( Options are blank and game loading takes forever and fails. Just bought it, starting to think about returning it back (
