I'm part of the team at Square Enix. We were recently asked whether we could remove the "Harry Houdini" achievement as, according to players and research, the achievement is broken and has been un-achievable for some years now.

Just to be clear - As it has now been some 9 years since the game was first released, the team that worked on Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is not available to make any gameside changes. Please do not request any fixes or resolutions to existing bugs or issues as we will be unable to address them.

However, as K&L2 is part of the Square Enix catalog, we do have access to it's Steamside backend - we will therefore attempt to remove the "Harry Houdini" achievement from Steam.

As this is an unusual case, it's unclear what effect this may have. We'd therefore ask you to please report any new instability or changes in the actual game to us in this thread. Please be aware that should any such issues arise, we will only be rolling back the achievement status to what it was before we made any changes. That should resolve any gameside issues that were created as a result of the change. We will not be acquiring any development resources to fix any issues, so please do avoid reporting already existing bugs or issues in this thread.
