Does anyone know if there will be multiplayer in the future?

I've been trying for the past half hour to work out the kinks in this game, going low res and all settings to low as well but It does NOT keep the settings no matter how much I save; I've even uninstalled and re-installed the game TWICE ALSO why would you have a DLC for settings? Its November, April Fools was months ago, and if its NOT an April Fools joke then that is EFFED this is very upsetting to me because when I saw the trailer for this I was excited as hell to play this, but if the games unfinish...
