Is this game dead?
On sale. Liked WW2 game but had issues with it (hated music). Not wanting to get a dead game.

I also just started playing. Add me if you want and maybe we can compare notes.

Otherwise, thinking the Steam hub is dead.

But it is an extremely fun game to play! No regrets purchasing it!!!

Just bought this through steam. Not dead, just not cutting edge. If the developers can replace the third party game engine, this game will get much better.

Why the newer version of the game?
One reviewer commented on lousy AI and no concept of supply and artillery distance projection.

Have you addressed ai issues recently?

Love how you people are litterally making us rebuy the game for the small update (Which btw doesnt fix any of the major bugs), which is the re release of the exact same game where yall were so lazy yall didnt even bother changing the name. If yall werent so lazy and greedy the games yall put out would actually be quite good instead of the buggy unfinished messes they are, but obviously its easier to just be greedy and resell the same copy pasted crap without much or any improvement. Im happy to say i wont be buying into the scam any longer and hopefully many other people wont either.

I think this game is the best game of the lot. I must admit to being more interested in WW1 than WW2, which has been a bit over done imo, but this game features some great aspects such as generally less manoeuvrability, trench warfare and gas. Its a fine game, one of my most played ever. I might get back into it again as well after having played 'Skies over the Great War' recently which is also a great game.

Still seems to work fine on my system as well. Hoping I dont run up against a memory block in turn 145 mind ....

Its really not.
The game could be great if they would have automatised and optimized the control features for this game a little more.

Currently its just a click fest. Having to click through every city one by one to execute a build or production order is just a pain in the .... There are features that are easy to implement. The game feels like the developers never seriously played their own game.
